+ How do I schedule a session?

You can either click the button on the right, or call us at 360.685.8114 to discuss your needs, and/or any other questions you might have about therapy.

This first conversation is a good opportunity for us both to discover whether we are a good fit to work together.

+ When are your office hours?

Our office hours are by appointment only on

Monday (9am - 5pm)

Tuesday (9am -5pm)

Wednesday (9am - 7pm)

Thursday (9am - 9pm)

Friday (9am - 7pm)

Saurday (8am - 3pm)

+ How long does counseling take?

Sessions are usually 53 minutes for individual, and 60 minutes for couples, but sometimes clients prefer longer sessions.

Therapy can be short or long term depending on your needs and goals. At the beginning of our relationship, we will identify what you want to work on and how we can accomplish those goals.

Therapy is different for everyone, and an individualized approach is best.

+ What is the scope of your care?

We are generally not able to provide therapy between scheduled appointments. For this reason we are not in a position to best support clients who are experiencing acute challenges (such as challenges involving significant risk of harm to self or others) that may require more availability from a therapist or other care providers.

We will make sure to provide you with more information about the limits of our services and to ask you questions to determine whether we are a good fit for working together. If we cannot provide the level of care you need or your presenting issues do not match our areas of expertise, we will provide you with a referral to a provider who can better meet your needs."

+ What if I have an emergency?

If you are experiencing an emergency or crisis, please call 911 or the Crisis Line at 1- 800-584-3578. In such situations, you may also go to the nearest hospital Emergency Room.

+ What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time. This gives us a chance to contact the people who may have wanted a session this week but were not able to get in.

The full fee for the appointment will be due if missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Thank you.

+ Do you accept insurance?

We are considered an “out-of-network” provider with insurance companies.

At the end of each month, we can provide you with a “super bill” to submit for reimbursement of out of network services.

You can also in most cases your HSA account if that is an option you would prefer.

+ How do I get reimbursed by my insurance company after paying for counseling?

If you’re planning to use insurance, please reach out to your insurance provider BEFORE scheduling a consult with us.

The phone number can be found on the back of your insurance card.

It’s best to ask your insurance representative the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health benefits through my health insurance?
  • If I have mental health benefits, are out-of-network benefits included?
  • In order to be reimbursed, do I need pre-approval before obtaining out-of-network mental health services?
  • If I have out-of-network benefits, will I be reimbursed the full amount I paid or a portion of the amount?
  • If I have out-of-network benefits, must I select a mental health provider from a list or can I choose any provider?
  • Are services by a licensed mental health counselor associate covered?
  • Where do I submit a “superbill” to get reimbursed (it’s usually a fax, an online portal, or a physical mailing address)?
